Senior Manager of Marketing

Position Summary:

The Senior Manager of Marketing (SMM) is responsible for the overall administration and management of the Marketing efforts for each of CityDance’s divisions. The SMM will cultivate relationships with staff, faculty, students and families to create an environment of trust and consistency. Areas of responsibility include managing and coordinating the design and implementation of marketing materials across all platforms. The SMM will work in conjunction with program leadership to meet specific goals in support of programming and brand awareness. The SMM must be an effective communicator, a good listener, and maintain a friendly, outgoing demeanor to all stakeholders.

About you:

  • Resident in the USA.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar position preferred.
  • Experience working in customer-facing roles.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English. Any other languages are a plus.
  • Ability to diagnose and solve problems of varying complexity with a customer-focused mindset.
  • Ability to prioritize, multitask, and perform effectively under pressure.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills.
  • Flexible and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Sense of humor.
  • Passionate about dance and its transformative power through high caliber training and performance.

You have experience working with these platforms:

  • Social media platforms (Facebook and Instagram advertising experience is a plus)
  • Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere Pro)
  • Customer Support or CRM platforms
  • Microsoft Word environment
  • Email marketing software
  • Google products

Physical demands that must be met in order to successfully complete the essential functions of the job:

  • Ability to speak, hear, see and use computers and other office-related equipment.
  • Ability to sit, stand and move around the studio and building for extended periods of time and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to travel locally and, on occasion, nationally.

Front Desk Manager

Are you an outgoing person with excellent customer service skills? Are you organized and detail-oriented? Are you a clear and effective communicator? If so, we have a fantastic opportunity for you to use and develop these talents and make an immediate impact on our evolving dance organization.

We’re looking for a passionate and self-motivated Front Desk Manager who can ensure all CityDance locations have the resources needed to run optimally. This role focuses on effective communication with parents, students, and staff, scheduling multiple sites, data entry, studio facility support, and performance support/event logistics. 

What you’ll do:

  • Ensure front desks at all locations run smoothly with adequate resources.
  • Studio maintenance- prep studios for classes and ensure music equipment is working. 
  • Troubleshoot issues proactively.
  • Front-line customer service- answering phones, emails, etc.
  • Monitor the students who are in the facility.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships.
  • Be a part of our School & Conservatory programs’ growth as we develop the next generation of dance artists and innovators.

About you:

  • You are a resident of the United States of America.
  • You have a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a similar position is preferred.
  • You have experience working in customer-facing roles.
  • You have strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Any other languages are a plus.
  • You can diagnose and solve problems with varying complexity with a customer-focused mindset.
  • You’re able to prioritize, multitask, and perform effectively under pressure.
  • You have strong planning and organizational skills.
  • You are flexible and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • You have a sense of humor. 
  • You are passionate about dance and its transformative power through high-caliber training and performance. 
  • You are available evenings and most Saturdays.

Physical demands that must be met to complete the essential functions of the job successfully:

  • Requires the ability to speak, hear, see and use a computer and other office-related equipment. 
  • Requires the ability to sit, stand and move around the studio and building for extended periods and lift up to 15 lbs.
  • May require local and national travel.
