Learn the fundamentals of classical ballet technique. Dancers learn traditional terminology and class structure while developing technique and discipline.

What to Wear
CityDance Studios does not have a strict dress code, but we recommend the following for each style of class. No street shoes may be worn on marley floors. Jeans and crop-tops are not acceptable dancewear and platform sneakers, boots, and/or Crocs are not acceptable footwear for dance. Loose jewelry is prohibited. Hair must be pulled back and out of the face.

Suggested Ballet Attire
For girls: Any color and style leotard, ballet pink or skin tone ballet tights, ballet pink or skin tone ballet shoes. For boys: Solid color t-shirt, male black tights or shorts, white, black or skin tone ballet shoes with elastic straps.
