Tuition

Enrollment is offered for the full year and by semester, however, classes are designed to be taken over the course of the full school year. Year-round enrollment is highly recommended.

Trial Classes

Studios offers trials for $25/class. When you schedule a trial, a spot is held in the class should you decide to register. If you do decide to register, the trial fee will be deducted from the total tuition amount. We can only offer trials if there is space open in a class. Please email to schedule a trial.

Payment Policies & Terms

Payment Plans are available upon request.

Withdrawal/Refund Policy

CityDance does not issue full refunds. If you wish to withdraw you have the choice of receiving a full credit for the immediate session OR a 50% refund for remaining classes. In the case of a serious student injury, illness, or relocation for which withdrawal from class is warranted, CityDance must be informed within 7 days of the event with appropriate documentation. A refund will be issued based on the date that CityDance received the information.

Cancelation Policy

If a class is canceled due to low enrollment, CityDance will make every effort to place the student in another suitable class. In the event an alternate class is unavailable, CityDance will provide a prorated refund.

Performance Fees

To participate in the end of the year performance, you will need to pay a performance fee of $125 PER class your child is enrolled in. Recital tickets are not covered in the performance fee. The performance fee covers the costs associated with costumes, rentals of the theater, and staffing for rehearsals and has increased this year due to increased costume costs. The total amount is based on the number of classes taken. Your child will get to keep the costume after the last performance. The performance fee is non-refundable after the costume has been ordered.

All policies, including those listed below, can be found in our Student Handbook.

Kids & Teens Additional Registration Info

Enrollment

CityDance Studios offers weekly classes from September through May for ages 18 months to 18 years, with a culminating Spring Recital in June. Enrollment is available for the full year or by semester, with ongoing registration available as space permitting.

We strongly recommend full year enrollment, as our classes are designed to be taken over the course of the entire school year. We encourage students to take for the full year to maximize their learning and progression in dance/through the Studios program.

There is no audition requirement and all classes are open for online registration.

Fall Registration

Registration opens in May. Classes will be listed on our website and enrollment is first come first serve. There is no recital or performance opportunity for Fall classes.

Spring Registration

Spring semester enrollment will open in December 2025. However, students enrolled in the Fall semester will have the opportunity for early registration before classes are made available to the general public.
If a class reaches capacity and all current students re-enroll, it will remain closed to new students. In the event of a waitlist, any available spots will be offered to waitlisted students before opening registration online. We highly encourage joining a waitlist if you’re interested in a specific class for the spring semester.

Classes are designed to be taken over the course of the full school year, culminating in an end of year recital in June. During semester 2, classes will work on their choreography. Students registering mid-year will be coming into a class that is already in session and may have already started recital choreography.

Trial Classes

Not sure which class is right for your child? Studios offers trials for $25/class. Trial classes are highly encouraged and allow potential students the chance to try out different genres while being assessed by Studios staff to find the best class for your young dancer. While CityDance Studios is an age-based program, we still make every effort to find the right fit for your child so they may have the best dance experience possible.

When you schedule a trial, a spot is held in the class should you decide to register. If your child joins the class within the same semester, the $25 trial fee will be deducted from the total tuition amount. We can only offer trials if there is space open in a class.

To schedule a trial, email us at [email protected] or [email protected].

Class Levels / Age Requirements

Dancers MUST be of-age by the start date of the class.

Though we offer the two semesters, our classes are designed for the full school year. The class will continue to progress throughout the year and grow with the children. We have age markers to help with enrollment but we prefer students to take a full year of instructions before moving into the next class level. Semester 2 will also have the added focus of the recital.

Starting at level 3, students should expect to spend a minimum of 2 years in each level before moving on to the next. This does not mean a child is repeating a level, but rather continuing their progression through the level from the previous year. It can take 2-3 years for students to absorb the full course work.

Waitlist Policy

We recommend joining a waitlist if your preferred class is full. While we cannot guarantee that space will become available, we often see movement on waitlists. If your child gets off the waitlist, you will be emailed and then given three days to claim the spot.

Performance Fee

To participate in the end of the year performance, each student will need to pay a performance fee PER class. Recital tickets are not covered in the performance fee.

If you have any questions regarding our classes or levels please email us at [email protected] or [email protected].

Camp Policies

Camp Cancelation Policy

Camps must have at least 5 enrolled or they will be subject to cancellation. Cancellations made due to low enrollment are eligible for a full credit or refund.

  • No prorated credit or refunds will be issued for missed days of camp during the session.
Potty Training Policy

All campers attending Summer and Day Camps are expected to be fully potty-trained by their first day of camp. Families should provide an extra set of clothes with campers if a camper has a history of bathroom accidents. If an accident occurs during camp hours, Studios Staff will notify the camper’s primary parent/guardian.

If Studios Staff determines that your camper is not fully independent in toileting while at camp, CityDance Studios reserves the right to assess a $25 cleaning fee and/or dismiss your camper in extreme circumstances. This will occur without a refund (or portion thereof) or credit towards a future program. This will occur only after discussion between staff and parent/guardian has occurred.
