ANNUAL CELEBRATION
Spring Recital
CityDance Studios’ Annual Spring Recital is a celebration of all of our dancers – kids, teens, and adults – and their hard work over the course of the year. The 2026 recital theme is Enchanted, so get ready to have a magical experience with this year’s choreography!

Kids & Teens Participation
All students who are enrolled in a weekly class during the Spring Semester have the option to perform in the Spring Recital. Starting in February, students will learn/rehearse their dance for the recital during their regular class time.
To participate in the end of the year performance, students will need to pay one performance fee per each class they are enrolled in. The total cost for each student’s participation is based on the number of classes taken.

Adult Participation
Adult students who wish to participate in the recital must enroll in a Rehearsal Session in addition to their weekly class enrollment. The rehearsal session contains approximately 6 outside rehearsals in which students will learn a piece of choreography. The session price covers the costs associated with costumes, choreographer fees, and rehearsals.

Dance Team Performances
Dance Team is Studios’ community performance group that performs at various local events throughout the year. These performance include:
- Tenleytown Art All Night
- Wheaton Arts Festival
- Washington Wizards Pre Game Showcase
- The Cherry Blossom Festival’s Petalpalooza
- Flower Mart at the National Cathedral Washington DC
Adults
Performance Opportunities
Through various partnerships, adult dancers have additional opportunities to perform.
Furia Flamenca’s Friends & Family Showcase
Students from all the flamenco classes offered at CityDance Studios and Furia’s Casita Flamenca are invited to perform in this annual celebration of all things flamenco! From Beginner to Intermediate level students, this is your chance to hit the stage!
To participate in this performance students must pay a performance fee. The fee is included in session enrollment for the Spring Session. Students who drop-in to class are still but still wish to perform may pay their fee below.
Mary Day’s Nutcracker presented by CityDance Conservatory
CityDance Studios adult students are offered the opportunity to perform in CityDance Conservatory’s annual presentation of Mary Day’s Nutcracker.
