Enrollment
What are Studios full enrollment policies?

What is the difference between Full Year and Semester enrollment?
Full Year enrollment is a year-long commitment and includes the option to participate in our Spring Recital. Our classes are designed for the full year and thus Full Year participation is highly encouraged to maximize students’ learning and experience.
Fall and Spring Semester enrollments allow for a shorter commitment. Students who enroll in the Fall Semester only have priority when enrollment opens for the Spring Semester. Only those enrolled in the Spring Semester have the option to participate in the Spring Recital.
Experience & Levels
My child has no previous dance experience, is that okay?
Yes! Studios offers a variety of levels, including beginner Tween (ages 10-12) and Teen (ages 13+) levels for older students looking to take their first dance class or get back into dance after some time off.
How do we know which level is right for our child?
While Studios is an age-based program, we still make every effort to find the right fit for your child so they may have the best dance experience possible. Consider signing up for a trial class before registering.
Does my child move up a level every year?
Starting at level 3, students should expect to spend a minimum of 2 years in each level before moving on to the next. This does not mean your child is repeating a level, but rather continuing their progression though the level from the previous year. It can take 2-3 years for students to absorb the full course work of levels 3, 4, and 5.
Trial classes

What is a trial class?
Trial classes allow potential students the chance to try out different styles and classes while being assessed by Studios staff to find the best fit for your young dancer. While Studios is an age-based program, we still make every effort to find the right fit for your child so they may have the best dance experience possible.
Is there a fee?
Trial classes cost $25 per class. If your child joins the class within the same semester, the $25 trial fee will be deducted from the total tuition amount.
How do I sign up for a trial class?
Email [email protected] to schedule a trial class. When you schedule a trial, a spot is held in the class should you decide to register. Note that we can only offer trials if there is space open in a class.
Dance Team
What are the requirements for Dance Team?
Dance Team members must
- Be between the ages of 10 and 18;
- Attend tryouts for placement;

How do I join Dance Team?
Dancers who wish to join Dance Team who meet the age requirements join Dance Team by attending Tryouts and registering for at least one Dance Team dance during the season.
What are Tryouts?
Tryouts are are held each season for the purpose of placing new and returning Dance Team dancers into Sub Teams for the year ahead. Tryouts are mandatory for Dance Team and Summer Kick-Off Camp participation. Sign up for Tryouts here.
What is a Sub Team?
Dance Team is divided into smaller units called Sub-Teams. Sub-Teams allow dancers a chance to work in smaller groups, experience different genres and choreographers, and enjoy the full benefits that Dance Team has to offer.

Do I need to attend Summer Kick Off Camp to be on Dance Team?

Dancers have the opportunity to learn up to 2 dances during camp that will be performed multiple times during the season. Camp is also a great way to get to know your fellow Dance Team members and leaders.
