Pre Tap Fall Semester

ABOUT THE CLASS

Learn the fundamentals of tap dance. Dancers will explore basic terminology, rhythm, coordination, and musicality. Must be at least age 4 by Saturday, September 21, 2024.

The semester runs Sunday, September 22, 2024 through Sunday, January 26, 2025. Classes will not be held on the following days:

Fall Break – Monday, November 25, 2024 through Sunday, December 1, 2024
Winter Break – Monday, December 23, 2024 through Sunday, January 5, 2025

Location: This is an in-person class at CityDance @ Friendship Heights, 5207 Wisconsin Ave NW Washington DC 20015.

Class capacity is 12.

Small Class Policy

Classes with 3 or less dancers are considered semi-privates and will be held for a reduced class time of 30 minutes. Once the class builds to 4 or more dancers, classes will resume to the full 45 minute class time.
