Camp C: Dance Stars

ABOUT THE CAMP

Campers get a glimpse of dance history, learning about five famous dance figures and the genres they impacted while also learning dances inspired by these stars of dance.

Dates: Monday, July 8 – Friday, July 12, 2024

Location: This is an in-person camp at CityDance @ Friendship Heights, 5207 Wisconsin Ave NW Washington DC 20015.

Camp capacity is 15.

What to Bring & Wear

Lunch

Snack

Water bottle

Ballet, jazz, tap, hip hop shoes (if you have – you do not need to buy these for camp)

Dance clothes or dress your child in clothes they can move easily in

Extra masks

10:30-10:45am Break & Snack

10:45-12:00pm Choreography

12:00-1:00pm Lunch

1:00-2:00 Arts & Crafts

2:00-3:00pm Yoga, Games, & Free Dance

3:00pm Pick Up

Cancelation Policy

Camps must have at least 5 enrolled or they will be subject to cancellation. Cancellations made due to low enrollment are eligible for a full credit or refund.

Should you need to cancel your camp registration:

• Cancellations made before May 1 are eligible for a full credit or refund.
• Cancellations made after May 1 are eligible for a 50% refund OR full credit towards a Fall 2024 class registration.
• Cancellations made less than 14 days prior to the start of camp are eligible for a 50% credit towards a Fall 2024 class registration. No refunds will be issued with less than 14 days notice.
• No prorated credit or refunds will be issued for missed days of camp during the session.
