Beginner Tap

About This Class

Learn the basics and history of the Black American art form of tap dance in this advanced beginner class with Paige Freeburg. With a focus on timing and basic tap vocabulary, students will learn how to create rhythm with their feet while building strength and core awareness through combinations set to a variety of music.

The first session consists of 8 weeks – Wednesday, September 13, 2023 through Wednesday, November 1, 2023. There are no classes during Fall Break, Wednesday, November 22, 2023 through Sunday, November 26, 2023

Fall Session: $144 / 8 weeks

Beginner Tap 8 Week Session: 9/13-11/1

Drop-In: $20

Beginner Tap Drop-In: 9/27

Beginner Tap Drop-In: 10/4

Location

This is an in-person class at CityDance @ Friendship Heights, 5207 Wisconsin Ave NW Washington DC 20015.

Cancellation/Reschedule Policy

If a class has low attendance, it may be subject to cancellation. Cancellation decisions for morning classes will be made by 9pm the night before and for evening classes by 3pm that day. In the event you cannot attend your purchased/scheduled drop-in class, please email adults@citydance.net prior to the start of class to reschedule.
