CityDance Conservatory Dancers Ela Sevillia, Avani Agrawal and Simon Tischler competed in the New York City Dance Alliance 2021 Finals in Orlando, Florida last week! Eric Poor attended as a teacher’s assistant and took workshop classes throughout the week on scholarship as the NYCDA 2020-2021 Mini Outstanding Dancer!
Ela Sevillia received a one year scholarship to the ABT William J. Gillespie School at the Segerstrom Center for the Arts in Orange County, California. She was also named NYCDA 2021 Junior Outstanding Dancer 1st Runner-up. Ela danced “Grand Pas Classique” staged by our Ballet Master Stanislav Issaev.
Simon Tischler scored platinum for his solo “La Fille mal gardée” staged by Stanislav Issaev. He received a full scholarship to the ABT William J. Gillespie School at the Segerstrom Center for the Arts and a scholarship to study at Steps on Broadway for summer 2021 and 2022.
Avani Agrawal also scored platinum and placed number 24 nationally for her solo performance “Spindra” choreographed by our Choreographer-in-Residence Robert J. Priore.
