CityDance School & Conservatory is thrilled to welcome legendary Philadelphia-based modern dance company PHILADANCO! to their 2021 summer intensive lineup! The company will bring their signature Horton technique and the repertory of Talley Beatty to students both in-person and online from June 14 through 25, 2021.
PHILADANCO! returns to CityDance following their highly acclaimed performance of “Endangered Species” in the 2019 CityDance Gala. This new summer intensive serves as part of the commemoration of the company’s 50th anniversary. PHILADANCO! is celebrated for its innovation, creativity and preservation of predominantly African-American traditions in dance. As part of this yearlong celebration, the company will also be co-presented by CityDance and Strathmore in January of 2022!
