Zoe Zitner

Zoe Zitner is a Washington, D.C., native who grew up studying ballet, modern, jazz, and hip hop at CityDance Conservatory. While with CityDance, she studied with Sarah Ewing, Robert Priore, Caroline Rocher, Kaitlin Madzelan, and Therese Gahl. She performed in repertory from dance companies worldwide, including Koresh, Gallim, Dance Theater of Harlem, and Focus Cia De Dança. Zoe graduated in the spring of 2024 with a BA in Dance and Psychology from Connecticut College. She concentrated on modern and post-modern dance under Professors David Dorfman, Lisa Race, and Shani Collins-Achille. Zoe worked with guest artists, including Ronald K. Brown, Shakia Barron, and Lauren Horn. She studied abroad in Paris, France, with Michael Foley’s University of South Florida’s Dance in Paris Program. In Paris, she worked with artists such as Wanjiru Kamuyu, Maurice Causey, Aurélia Lefaucheux, and Nathalie Pubellier. Zoe is excited to be back at CityDance and teaching!
