Mariano Zamora González (He/Him) is a Costa Rican artist based in London. He earned a BFA in Dance from the University of Southern California under Jodie Gates and William Forsythe, performing works by Forsythe, Jiří Kylián, Ohad Naharin, Jerome Robbins, George Balanchine, Alejandro Cerrudo, and Dwight Rhoden.
Between 2021 and 2023, Mariano toured with Ballet Hispánico, performing at Lincoln Center’s BAAND Together Dance Festival and premiering Annabelle Lopez Ochoa’s Doña Perón during the Fall for Dance Festival. He is currently touring internationally with Company Wayne McGregor and has performed at prestigious events including Milano Fashion Week, Frieze London, Roberto Bolle and Friends Gala, and La Biennale di Venezia. He is soon premiering McGregor’s Deepstaria at the Montpellier Danse Festival in France.
With a minor in Architecture, Mariano explores the intersection of fine arts, craftsmanship, fashion, and film, blending aesthetic vision with high-level dance performance.
