Letitia (Tish) Hays has dedicated her life to dance. A scholarship recipient at age five, she attended a performing arts high school, and earned her B.A. in Dance from Florida International University, before relocating to Washington, DC to accept a full academic fellowship at American University. There she completed her M.A. in Choreography and Performance along with a certificate in Arts Management, learning not only how to create dances, but how to make them happen. Tish has found profound purpose in dance therapy initiatives supporting children experiencing homelessness and incarcerated women. Since 2003, she has served as an operational architect at CityDance, overseeing multi-site facilities and capital projects, while stewarding the organization’s finance, HR, and compliance functions. Tish believes the highest compliment in operations is invisibility. When things work beautifully, no one notices.
