Grace Emery has a BFA in Dance from the University of Arizona, where she honed her performance skills and developed a strong foundation in dance education. Her passion for teaching began growing up in Indiana, where she assisted classes at Expressenz Dance Center and discovered a love for mentoring young dancers and supporting instructors in the classroom. Grace’s performance background includes works by choreographers such as George Balanchine (restaged by Eve Lawson), Ruben Dorame, Marquez Johnson, Tammy Dyke-Compton, and others. She is trained across a wide range of styles including ballet, jazz, contemporary, hip-hop, and heels, allowing her to bring versatility and creativity into the classroom. Grace is committed to creating a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment where dancers can grow technically and artistically. She is excited to be joining the City Dance Studios team!
