Christina Collins

Christina Collins (she/her) is a Richmond, Virginia native who trained in Jazz, Ballet, Contemporary, Hip-Hop, and Tap, earning regional and national titles across the East Coast. She graduated from Thomas Dale High School for the Visual and Performing Arts before earning her BFA in Dance and Choreography from Virginia Commonwealth University. While there, she co-choreographed Orbit, selected for the Mid-Atlantic South American College Dance Association Conference in 2019.
Christina later earned her MFA in Dance from University of Maryland, College Park, where she taught in higher education and gained production experience, including stage managing the American College Dance Association Conference in 2025. Her creative work integrates contemporary floorwork, House, Jazz, and groove-based movement. Her thesis, MUVAshiiip: The Voyage, explored Afrofuturism, the Black imagination, and time travel. She now serves as Program Administrator for the Conservatory.
