Learn the basics of Flamenco dance, including upper body (braceo), the rhythms (palos), palmas (hand-clapping), footwork (taconeo), and even some Spanish.

What to Wear
CityDance Studios does not have a strict dress code, but we recommend the following for each style of class. No street shoes may be worn on marley floors. Jeans and crop-tops are not acceptable dancewear and platform sneakers, boots, and/or Crocs are not acceptable footwear for dance. Loose jewelry is prohibited. Hair must be pulled back and out of the face.

Suggested Flamenco Attire
For girls: Any color and style leotard, character or long skirt, and flamenco or character shoes. For boys: Solid color t-shirt, athletic/dance pants, and flamenco or character shoes.
