Jazz/Modern 1 Fall Semester

ABOUT THE CLASS 

Dancers learn the fundamentals of Jazz and Modern dance. Classes will incorporate technical elements and terminology as well as syncopated rhythms, improvisation, and isolations, with an emphasis on energy and style. Must be at least age 7 by Tuesday, September 16, 2025.

The Fall session runs Wednesday, September 17, 2025 through Wednesday, January 21, 2026.

Classes will not be held on the following days:

Indigenous Peoples’ Day: Monday, October 13, 2025 – No Classes

Halloween: Friday, October 31, 2025 – No Classes

Fall Break: Monday, November 24, 2025 – Sunday, November 30, 2025 – No Classes

Winter Break: Monday, December 22, 2025 – Sunday, January 4, 2026 – No Classes

Martin Luther King Jr Day: Monday, January 19, 2026 – No Classes
