Beginning Jazz/Modern Fall Semester

ABOUT THE CLASS

A progression of Pre Jazz/Modern. Dancers continue their exploration of jazz and modern thorough classes focusing on coordination, rhythm, and dance terminology. By alternating between the genres, dancers begin to understand the similarities between the two techniques as well as their unique cultural and technical differences. Must be at least age 6 by Sunday, September 14, 2025.

The semester runs Monday, September 15, 2025 through Monday, January 12, 2026. Classes will not be held on the following days:

Indigenous Peoples’ Day – Monday, October 13, 2025 

Halloween – Friday, October 31, 2025 

Fall Break – Monday, November 24, 2025 through Sunday, November 30, 2025 

Winter Break – Monday, December 22, 2025 through Sunday, January 4, 2026 

Martin Luther King Jr Day – Monday, January 19, 2026
