About This Class

Explore individualized expression of movement, creation, and improvisation in this feel-good contemporary class with Zoe Zitner. Students will learn how to pull from their own experiences to influence and develop their own movement practice while building their technical skills and knowledge.

Sign up now for the 4 week Summer Session (Thursday, June 26 – Thursday, July 17, 2025) and/or the 6 week Late Summer Session (Thursday, August 7 – Thursday, September 11, 2025). Classes will not be held on the following days:

Juneteenth: Thursday, June 19, 2025

4th of July Weekend: Friday, July 4 – Sunday, July 6, 2025

Studios Summer Break: Monday, July 21 – Sunday, August 3, 2025

Labor Day Weekend: Saturday, August 30 – Monday, September 1, 2025

Registration Information

Summer Session: $90 / 4 weeks

Intermediate Contemporary 5 Week Session: 6/26-7/17

Later Summer Session: $135 / 6 weeks

Intermediate Contemporary 6 Week Session: 8/7-9/11

Drop-In: $25

Intermediate Contemporary Drop-In: 6/26 

Intermediate Contemporary Drop-In: 7/3

This is an in-person class at CityDance @ Friendship Heights, 5207 Wisconsin Ave NW Washington DC 20015.

Cancellation/Reschedule Policy

If a class has low attendance, it may be subject to cancellation. Cancellation decisions for morning classes will be made by 9pm the night before and for evening classes by 3pm that day. In the event you cannot attend your purchased/scheduled drop-in class, please email adults@citydance.net by 9pm the day before to receive a full credit and/or reschedule your drop-in class. Cancellation emails received after 9pm the night before will receive a 50% class credit. If a cancellation email has not been sent before the start of class, our No Show policy takes effect and you will forfeit the full class credit.
