Earlier this year, CityDance Conservatory students Ella Berton and Eric Poor, along with former Conservatory student Ella Sevillia, were accepted to the American Ballet Theatre (ABT) 2022 Summer Intensive in New York City. All attended the in-person intensive on full tuition scholarships.
Following a successful summer and in recognition of their talent, work ethic, and potential, each student has been awarded an ABT National Training Scholarship for the 2022-2023 season. The ABT National Training Scholarship covers the full cost of each student’s summer intensive program the following year as well as a stipend to put towards summer housing. Past recipients of this elite scholarship include Misty Copeland, David Hallberg, Devon Teuscher, Tyler Maloney, Catherine Hurlin, among others.
