Intermediate Tap

About This Class

Delve deeper into the history of the Black American art form of tap dance in this intermediate class with Fernando Naranjo. Students who already possess a basic knowledge of tap vocabulary will build upon those skills with more complex combinations that focus on timing, steps, and incorporating more intricate rhythms.

The new Spring Session consists of 9 weeks – Monday, March 25, 2024 through Monday, June 3, 2024.Classes will not be held during CityDance Studios Spring Break, Monday – April 15, 2024 through Sunday April 21, 2024 – and Memorial Day Weekend – Sunday, May 25, 2024 through Monday, May 27, 2024. 

Registration Information

Spring Session: $180 / 9 weeks

Intermediate Tap 9 Week Session: 3/25-6/3

Drop-In: $22.50

Intermediate Tap Drop-In: 4/29

Intermediate Tap Drop-In: 5/6

This is an in-person class at CityDance @ Friendship Heights, 5207 Wisconsin Ave NW Washington DC 20015.

Cancellation/Reschedule Policy

If a class has low attendance, it may be subject to cancellation. Cancellation decisions for morning classes will be made by 9pm the night before and for evening classes by 3pm that day. EFFECTIVE NOVEMBER 6, 2023: In the event you cannot attend your purchased/scheduled drop-in class, please email adults@citydance.net by 9pm the day before to receive a full credit and/or reschedule your drop-in class. Cancellation emails received after 9pm the night before will receive a 50% class credit. If a cancellation email has not been sent before the start of class, our No Show policy takes effect and you will forfeit the full class credit.
