This month we’re exploring Laban / Bartenieff Movement Fundamentals with Felipe Oyarzun Moltedo! Learn about the influential movement theorists Rudolf Laban and Irmgard Bartenieff and their approach to dance and dance education. Throughout class dancers will focus on breath, core support, and efficient movement patterns to enhance their overall body awareness and movement quality. Class will finish with a dance combo that will apply the concepts learned during the class.

This is an in-person class at CityDance @ Friendship Heights, 5207 Wisconsin Ave NW Washington DC 20015.

Cancellation Policy

In order to receive a full value gift certificate you must call 48 hours prior to the event. No show/no call = no credit. If there is a threat of inclement weather or if the event has low attendance, it may be subject to cancellation. In this case, you will be given a credit to attend a future class of equal value.
