Important: CityDance School & Conservatory Live Online Classes Begin on April 13

Greetings CityDance Family!

We hope you are all doing well and in good health.

We also hope that your children are enjoying our CityDance online classes this week which we have posted on a rolling basis! We are also excited about starting some live online classes starting April 13. As you may well imagine, we have been exceptionally preoccupied with the creation and launch of this secured and quality program for our new online classes utilizing the MS TEAMS platform. This is a whole new world for us all in these unprecedented times! Thank you for keeping in touch and for your continued flexibility and patience.

Your child's CityDance online MS Teams portal has all the classes that correspond to his or her regular 2019-2020 registration and schedule. Please log in at the time of your regular classes beginning April 13 to access your classes either via LIVE or pre-recorded materials. If you would like to call us with any questions/comments/concerns please call (240) 242-3636. For additional important communication topics, please refer to our Live Online Classes Guidelines for Students/Parents document as well as the Lines of Communication chart at the end of this letter (Please click on the link to access the information).

We have heard from many of you that have already started taking our classes from home, how much your children enjoy their new online study time with their teachers and classmatesWe are so happy to be able to continue your child’s training via this online programming even though we cannot be in the studios together as we were earlier in the season. We truly miss seeing you all in the studio dancing beautifully through your classes and rehearsals--you are an inspiration to us all!

One of the most important reasons to have our online classes is to continue forward with training until students can get back into our CityDance studios, as well as maintain contact with our CityDance family and the broad support we offer through our greater community of dance.

Our highest priority is to keep you happily dancing and fulfilling your general training during this difficult time while you are in quarantine at home away from your regular academic and dance lives.

We are waiting to hear from Governor Hogan about our Maryland State’s next steps after April 25th and will be getting back to you again before April 25 with an update.

Wishing you continued good health and vibrant energy!

Lorraine and Asanga
