CityDance School and Conservatory: Important Information for 2020 Children & Youth Concerts

CityDance School & Conservatory

Children & Youth Concert 2020: Parent Info

Dear CityDance Parents and Students,

Our annual end of the year Children & Youth Concert is on Saturday, May 23th at the Music Center at Strathmore Concert Hall. We wish to inform you that we have changed the technical rehearsal format to allow extra onstage rehearsal time for our students so they can have a successful performance. We are very excited about this opportunity for all of our young dancers. Please see below for the updated technical and performance dates. Please keep this email saved in your inbox for future reference.

This year we will continue with our two-show format: one for our Lower School/Little Movers and another for our Upper School. As always, we will do our best to include the youngest children in the first show and to minimize the number of shows they will need to participate in. However, many of our students are in multiple pieces per their class schedule and in order to allow for breathing time, costume and shoe changes, and the overall flow of the concert, both shows will still feature mixed levels of dancers.

We are so looking forward to an incredible Children and Youth Concert weekend this year!

Best regards,

Asanga Domask

Managing Director, School
