CityDance receives "Outstanding School Award" at Youth America Grand Prix, Philadelphia

We are thrilled to announce that CityDance won the Outstanding School Award at Youth America Grand Prix Philadelphia!


Fuego, choreographed by our Choreographer-In-Residence Robert J. Priore won first place in the Ensemble category. The CityDance Conservatory Dancers who performed Fuego were Makani Yerg, Lara Segrillo, Josiah Lax, Alexa Torres, Cole Chertok, Sarah Mulberg, Jade Diouf, Mariano (Nano) Zamora, Maki Ishibashi, Bruno Palheta, Kirby Brenner and Lope Lim.


All of our students who competed individually won awards in both classical and contemporary categories:


Isabelle Zombron - Top 12 Classical and Contemporary
Corbin Holloway - 2nd place Classical and Contemporary
Brock Jo Maye - Top 12 Classical, 3rd place Contemporary
Bruno Palheta - 2nd place Contemporary, 2nd place Classical


Lorraine Spiegler, School & Conservatory Artistic Director, would like to extend a huge thank you to the teaching faculty, coaches and choreographers across the training program and a very special thank you to those who worked most closely with these presentations in Philadelphia-- Stanislav Issaev, Ludmila Morkovina, Robert. J .Priore, Kevin Pajarillaga and Carla Martins.


CityDance Conservatory Dancers are now preparing to travel to New York for the YAGP Finals that will take place April 7-14.
