Corbin Holloway Wins Second YAGP Hope Award

In closing out our Youth America Grand Prix regional tour of 2019, we are excited to celebrate the accomplishments of our students, including a major accomplishment by Corbin Holloway. Corbin, age 11, received his second Hope Award this year at YAGP Pittsburgh. The Hope Award is given to the dancer in the Pre-Competitive age division who shows the most promise at his or her regional competition across classical and contemporary genres. It is the Grand Prix for the youngest students, and it is an incredible honor for one of our dancers to receive two years in a row. Confluent with Corbin's Hope award in Pittsburgh was the Outstanding Teacher Award given to CityDance Conservatory Ballet Master Stanislav Issaev, with whom Corbin trains. Corbin heads to New York City for YAGP's international finals this April. At last year's finals, Corbin won first place in the Pre-Competitive age division. We wish him the best as he returns to the PepsiCo Theatre stage this year!

Fellow Petite Conservatory Dancer Ella Berton joins Corbin for the New York finals following a third place finish at her regional competition in Purchase, New York. Best of luck to Ella!

See Corbin in action! Enjoy these videos of his performances of Don Quixote, Le Corsaire and Crimson Wings from YAGP Pittsburgh.
