CityDance at Atlas INTERSECTIONS Festival 2018
CityDance POP! Director Ivy Chow's company I.C. Movement Project performed at Atlas INTERSECTIONS Festival on Sunday, February 25. The company performed Through the Glass Ceiling, an original ballet that investigates society's systemic gender inequality.
On the same day, CityDance Conservatory Dancers performed in teaching faculty member Therese Gahl's SPECTRA. On working with our students, Therese says, "Each chance I get to work with the pre-professional dancers in the CityDance Conservatory, I'm reminded that the voice and talent of the next generation of dancers is strong and will not go unnoticed. As smart, tenacious dancers, they allowed me to explore and push the possibilities of what I wanted to say. I appreciated their vitality and spirit that they contributed to SPECTRA, and thoroughly enjoyed the experience it was working with them from the studio to the theatre."Congratulations to Ivy, Therese and our dancers on amazing performances!
