CityDance Petite Conservatory Dancers chosen as Fritz and Clara in Ballet West's Nutcracker at The Kennedy Center

Great news from the CityDance Conservatory! CityDance Petite Conservatory Dancers Corbin Holloway and Makenzie Hymes were chosen as Fritz and Clara in Ballet West's Nutcracker, presented at The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts this winter. They are excited to rehearse and perform alongside Ballet West Company members!

Makenzie and Corbin perform on December 5, 6, 7 and 8 at 7:30pm. Tickets available here.

"Dancing in the Ballet West Nutcracker as Fritz is so exciting, and dancing at the Kennedy Center is very special! I have been in other roles in the Moscow Ballet Nutcracker, but this is my first time as Fritz and with Ballet West! It's fun to learn and dance in the role of Fritz with my friend Makenzie who was chosen as Clara." - Corbin

"It's so exciting to be Clara! Every girl who loves ballet dreams of being Clara in the Nutcracker. CityDance gave me the confidence to audition and I am so happy that I did! All of the other children in the Ballet West Nutcracker look up to me and I have the responsibility of setting an example for the younger ones in my rehearsals. I am also looking forward to dancing and partnering with the professional company members of Ballet West. It's a dream come true!" - Makenzie
