CityDance Ensemble's suite of family friendly concerts is exceptionally popular and comp rises the same cast as the full-length repertory concerts, making it possible to stage family programming and evening-length performances during the same engagement.

CityDance offers, through its program "Dancing in One Language" an excerpted, narrated version of its repertory concerts, tying together all the elements of modern, ballet, hip hop, music and film which make up a CityDance concert and engaging in-theater audiences in an interactive program designed to bring young audiences into the theater and into the world of contemporary dance.

FULL LENGTH CONCERT VERSION
CityDance's adaptation of the Kipling classic is available in an evening-length, fully theatrical production and in an outreach/community version suitable for the school cafeteria and the community center. The evening-length work, built to serve the needs and interests of both the young and the yougn-at-heart, features flying monkeys, madcap jackals and all the characters children have adored for 115 years. The evening length production runs 65 minutes.
COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT/OUTREACH VERSION
The outreach/community version is narrated by Kipling himself, and engages the audience with interaction and opportunities on stage. Running 45 minutes it allows for all the magic of the stage version but requires none of the production values.

Dancing on One Planet: A Message for the Environment
An outreach and community engagement program centered around the issues of the environment, with a special focus on trash and the actions young audiences can take to become better stewards of their commuities and their planets.
One Planet is a 40 minute interactive program for elementary school-age students.
