The MCCAC is the newest theater in the Washington, Metropolitan area. A State-of-the-Art 500 seat theater and 150 seat black box, MCCAC enjoys superb sight-lines, stunning sound and an environment at once welcoming and modern.
MCCAC is located at the southern tip of the Silver Spring Arts District at the intersection of Georgia Avenue and East West Highway. The address is 7995 Georgia Avenue, just a few hundred yards from the District of Columbia.
PARKING IS FREE at the MCCAC! The MCCAC parking lot, shown in the map below, is located on the JESSUP-BLAIR side road off Georgia Avenue (a left turn from Silver Spring \ a right turn from the District of Columbia).

Take the Red Line to the Silver Spring Metro Station on the Red Line. Exit to Colesville Road and walk WEST one black to East West Highway. Turn SOUTH (right), towards the District of Columbia, and follow East West
approximately 5 blocks to its terminus. The MCCAC is directly in front of you across the street.

From the Music Center at Strathmore (approximately 20 minutes with traffic)
From 5301 Tuckerman Lane turn left on Rockville Pike (South).Take the ramp onto I-495E. Drive 3.7 miles. Take exit 31B to merge onto MD-97 S/Georgia Ave toward Silver Spring. Drive 0.5 miles. Take a slight right at 16th Street. Drive 1.2 miles. At the traffic circle, take the 2nd exit onto County Boundary/Eastern Ave. Continue to follow Eastern Ave Passing through District of Columbia, Maryland, District of Columbia entering Maryland. Drive 0.8 miles. Turn left at Georgia Avenue. Drive 0.2 miles. Turn left on Jessup-Blair Drive and enter parking garage.

From VIRGINIA via I-495
Take exit 31B to merge onto MD-97 S/Georgia Ave toward Silver Spring. Drive 0.5 miles. Take a slight right at 16th Street. Drive 1.2 miles. At the traffic circle, take the 2nd exit onto County Boundary/Eastern Ave. Continue to follow Eastern Ave Passing through District of Columbia, Maryland, District of Columbia entering Maryland. Take I-270 South to I-495. Merge onto I-495.

Continue to follow I-495 N. Drive 12.1 miles. Take exit 30 to merge onto US-29 S/Colesville Rd toward Silver Spring. Drive 1.8 miles. Turn left at Georgia Avenue. Drive 0.8 miles. Turn right at Eastern Avenue. Drive 0.1 miles. Take the first right onto King Street. Drive 0.1 miles. Turn left on Georgia Avenue. Destination is on your left. Turn left on Jessup-Blair Drive and enter parking garage.

From the DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA, Friendship Heights, Tenley neighborhoods
Reach Military Road, NW. Continue onto Missouri Avenue, NW. Turn left at Georgia Avenue entering Maryland. Drive 1.8 miles. Turn RIGHT onto Jessup-Blair Drive and proceeed to the end of the drive to access the parking lot. Upon parking exit the NORTH end of the lot, away from the entrance. The MCCAC is to your left.

From Capitol Hill
Reach Route 29N -- 7th Street in downtown DC and Georgia Avenue in upper NW DC. Follow Georgia Avenue, NW 4.1 miles, crossing into Maryland. Turn right onto Jessup-Blair drive just inside the Maryland line. Park at the MCCAC lot.

When should I arrive?
Seating for Jungle Books is general admission. For NEXT seating is assigned. Please plan to arrive for Jungle Books 30 minutes prior to showtime and for NEXT at least 15 minutes before showtime.
What should I wear?
We invite out patrons to wear what is most comfortable for them.
Casual or business-casual attire is appropriate. Feel free to dress
in more formal attire should you be attending a VIP post-concert
reception.
