Who We Are

CityDance relies on the generous help of volunteers, parents, and staff to successfully produce high-quality professional performances, provide area youth with world-class dance instruction, and make dance more accessible to DC and surrounding communities.

There are many ways for you to get involved with CityDance: provide departmental support (i.e. welcoming guests, helping backstage), host an artist or event, join a parent committee, or become a member of the CityDance staff. Making a difference in your community can be meaningful and fun.

Community Programs

CityDance Community Programs' “Dancing in One Language” Dance Camp is where you can learn various styles of cultural dance, including Hip Hop, African, Chinese Folk, Bollywood and traditional Latin dance. You’ll have fun learning and creating dances, and have the opportunity to perform with students from all over the city! Email sarahlevy@citydance.net for more information!
